Matheus Cunha, the forward of Wolverhampton Wanderers, has been handed an additional one-match ban and fined £50,000 for his actions in the final minute of extra time during their FA Cup defeat against Bournemouth. The Brazilian striker admitted a charge of acting in an improper manner after clashing with Cherries defender Milos Kerkez, leading to a straight red card for violent conduct. This means Cunha will now miss the Premier League match at Ipswich Town on 5 April, in addition to the three-game suspension he was already serving. He will next be available for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur on 13 April. Cunha was previously suspended for two games in January following a clash with a member of Ipswich Town's security.
