Everton report £53m losses for the 2023-24 season, marking their seventh straight year of deficits totaling £570m. Despite this, no additional charges were imposed by the Premier League in 2023-24 as all clubs were deemed financially compliant. Everton were previously deducted eight points for breaching profit and sustainability rules in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. The club's losses for the past three seasons are £187m, but investments in infrastructure, youth, and women's teams can be deducted when calculating these losses under PSR rules. Everton are scheduled to move to their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock this summer, with £313m spent on its development so far. The club also reported increased turnover (£187m), reduced wage-to-turnover ratio (81%), and a net debt of £567m. The Texas-based Friedkin Group completed a takeover in December, refinancing club debts and converting Moshiri's interest-free loans into equity. Everton sacked manager Sean Dyche in January and replaced him with David Moyes. Despite a recent unbeaten run, they remain 15th in the Premier League, 17 points clear of the relegation zone.
