Manchester City striker Erling Haaland was forced off the field in the 61st minute of Sunday's FA Cup win against Bournemouth due to an ankle injury. Haaland scored the equaliser before leaving the Vitality Stadium on crutches and with a protective boot. City expects him to play again this season, including the upcoming Club World Cup. Haaland had tests on Monday and will see a specialist to determine the extent of the injury. The Norwegian missed a penalty and two other chances on Sunday, but his goal helped City progress to the FA Cup semi-finals. Manager Pep Guardiola has dealt with numerous injuries to key players this season as City sit fifth in the Premier League, one point off Chelsea in the Champions League places.
