Anthony Elanga, a 22-year-old winger for Nottingham Forest, scored the opening goal in a match against Manchester United, his former club. Elanga, who joined United at the age of 12, chose not to celebrate the goal out of respect for his former team. In a conversation with Dion Dublin, Elanga revealed that he trained extensively on his left foot during lockdown and takes inspiration from Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. Elanga has had a breakout season with six goals and eight assists in 31 Premier League appearances, citing the influence of his personal coach and the guidance of manager Nuno Espirito Santo. With seven matches remaining in the Premier League season, Nottingham Forest is in third place and on track to qualify for the Champions League.
