Title Races Across Europe: Who Will Win the Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, Primeira Liga, Eredivisie, and Ligue 1?
In England, Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League title, but how do the other title races across Europe stand? Here's a look at the current standings and potential winners in the German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, Portuguese Primeira Liga, Dutch Eredivisie, and French Ligue 1.
Bundesliga - Germany:
As things stand, Bayern Munich will be crowned champions if they win their game against Mainz and Bayer Leverkusen lose to Augsburg on Saturday. Kane and Dier are aiming for their first domestic title with Bayern. Both Bayern and Leverkusen are already guaranteed a Champions League spot next season.
Italy - Serie A:
Inter Milan are in the driving seat in Serie A, with a goal difference advantage over Napoli, who are level on points. However, if the two teams finish level on points, they will face off in a play-off. Scottish duo McTominay and Gilmour could play a crucial role in Naples or it could be Simone Inzaghi's Inter again.
Spain - La Liga:
Barcelona are aiming to win their 28th title, sitting four points clear of Real Madrid in second and 13 ahead of third-placed Atletico Madrid. Barcelona and Real Madrid have five games to play, with a potential El Classico showdown on 11 May.
Portugal - Primeira Liga:
Sporting, managed by Manchester United's former boss Ruben Amorim, are currently in the top spot, level on points with Benfica. If both teams are level on points after the final game, the head-to-head record will decide the winner.
Netherlands - Eredivisie:
Jordan Henderson is on track to win his first Dutch title as Ajax sit nine points clear. Ajax have not won the Eredivisie since Erik ten Hag was in charge in 2021.
France - Ligue 1:
Paris St-Germain have already been crowned champions for the fourth consecutive season, but there is still a race for Europe with six teams in contention for a Champions League spot.
