Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has attributed Cole Palmer's recent goal drought to a mental issue, as the 22-year-old English forward has gone 16 games without scoring despite having more shots than any other Premier League player during that spell. Maresca believes Palmer is still capable of scoring goals and sees no change in his style of play. Despite Chelsea's dip in form and their current sixth place in the league, Maresca will be missing the upcoming game against Everton due to a touchline ban, with assistant coach Willy Caballero taking charge. Maresca also stated that this season, although Chelsea may not qualify for the Champions League, it is not a failure compared to the past two seasons, as the team has been in the Champions League places for most of the season.
