Fernandes, who was named Manchester United's player of the year for a joint-record fourth time earlier this month, has reportedly been offered a lucrative deal worth more than double his current earnings at Old Trafford. The midfielder has remained focused during Manchester United's Asian tour, but has offered no guarantees about his future with the club. Head coach Ruben Amorim has previously expressed his desire for Fernandes to stay, but has also acknowledged that a transfer fee of £80m could help reshape his squad.
While Fernandes' decision is not yet final, Al-Hilal are keen to make a statement signing ahead of the forthcoming Club World Cup. Fernandes, who finished as Manchester United's top scorer last season with 19 goals, has made 290 appearances and scored 98 goals for the club since joining from Sporting in 2020.
