Rangers' interim manager Barry Ferguson has confirmed that Saturday's draw with Hibernian was his final match in charge, as he steps down from the role. Ferguson, who took over when Philippe Clement was sacked in February, leaves along with coaches Neil McCann, Billy Dodds, and goalkeeper Allan McGregor. In a statement, Ferguson expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and support he received during his tenure, wishing the club's new manager every success. The club is currently in the process of a takeover by a consortium involving Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises Global Football Group, and Real Madrid assistant Davide Ancelotti, son of Carlo Ancelotti, has been linked with the Ibrox manager's role. Rangers' chief executive Patrick Stewart thanked Ferguson and his team for their work, highlighting several memorable moments during their time, such as reaching the Europa League quarter-finals and an Old Firm win at Celtic Park.
