
In a shocking incident, about 50 people, including four children, were injured when a car ploughed into supporters during Liverpool's Premier League trophy parade on Monday. The 53-year-old British driver from the Liverpool area has been arrested. Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk expressed his concern, praying for a speedy recovery for the injured. Former manager Jurgen Klopp and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also extended their thoughts and prayers. The incident did not involve terrorism, and 27 people were hospitalized.
