Former Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been recalled to England's squad for the World Cup qualifier against Andorra on 7 June and the friendly against Senegal on 10 June. This is Toney's first call-up since joining Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli last summer. He has scored 28 goals in 42 appearances for Al-Ahli this season, which convinced England head coach Thomas Tuchel to include him in the squad. Toney made his last England appearance in the Euro 2024 final defeat by Spain. England will also be without Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden, as he is set to have shoulder surgery following the Club World Cup. Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea has received his first senior call-up.
