Ireland international goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher completes a move from Liverpool to Brentford, joining the Championship side for an initial £12.5m fee. The 26-year-old, who has been sold to make way for Giorgi Mamardashvili at Anfield, will compete for the number one spot with David Raya. Kelleher, who made 25 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, will be replacing departing Netherlands keeper Mark Flekken, who has joined Bayer Leverkusen for a fee in the region of £8m. Both players have signed five-year contracts with their new clubs. Phil Giles, Brentford's director of football, expressed his delight in securing Kelleher's services and praised the goalkeeper's personality and character.
