Scotland will face Iceland in a friendly match at Hampden Park on Friday, June 6, with kick-off scheduled for 19:45 BST. The game will be broadcast live on BBC One Scotland and the BBC Sport website & app, with online text updates and radio coverage available.
Steve Clarke, Scotland manager, has selected a new-look squad for the upcoming friendly matches against Iceland and Liechtenstein, with seven uncapped players included. Among them are Kieron Bowie (Hibernian), Josh Doig (Sassuolo), Connor Barron (Rangers), Andy Irving (West Ham United), Lennon Miller (Motherwell), Robby McCrorie, and Cieran Slicker.
The squad features a blend of youth and experience, with 12 players aged 25 or younger and familiar faces such as captain Andy Robertson, John McGinn, Kieran Tierney, and Scott McTominay remaining in the spine of the squad.
Goalkeeping remains an uncertainty for Scotland, with Angus Gunn, who has made high-profile errors for both club and country, out of contract and the uncapped McCrorie and Slicker, both with limited experience, as options.
Among the uncapped players, Lennon Miller of Motherwell and Hibernian striker Kieron Bowie are expected to make an impact. Miller, 18, has been named PFA Scotland young player of the year and is attracting interest from clubs for a sizeable transfer fee.
