PSG fans celebrated their first-ever Champions League victory against Inter Milan with wild scenes in Paris, leading to hundreds of arrests and clashes with police. Nearly 300 people were arrested for disorder and possession of fireworks near the Champs-Elysees avenue and PSG's Parc des Princes stadium. The chaos included flares, fireworks, smashed bus shelters, and torched cars. Despite the troubles, many fans celebrated peacefully, with the Eiffel Tower illuminated in PSG's colors and President Emmanuel Macron congratulating the team. Approximately 5,400 police were deployed in Paris to manage the celebrations. The majority of those detained were suspected of causing disorder. Social media footage showed crowds attempting to break into shops on the Champs-Elysées, including Chanel and Foot Locker. Riot police used a water cannon and tear gas to disperse the crowds. Outside Paris, a car ploughed into PSG fans in Grenoble, leaving four people injured, though the driver was believed not to have acted intentionally. The PSG team will hold a victory parade on the Champs-Elysees on Sunday, with Macron planning to host the team to congratulate them.
