Ronaldo Turns Down Club World Cup Offers

Cristiano Ronaldo

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has declined offers from teams participating in this month's Club World Cup, citing that it does not align with his current plans. The 40-year-old, out of contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr at the end of June, revealed that some offers made sense while others did not, but he opted against attempting to catch every opportunity. Ronaldo's social media posts in May hinted at a potential move, but sources indicate that Al-Nassr remains confident in extending his deal. The striker, who joined Al-Nassr in 2023 following a stint with Manchester United, has scored 99 goals in 111 appearances for the club. Ronaldo's recent goal against Germany in a 2-1 victory secured Portugal's place in the Nations League final.
