The first-ever north London derby to take place outside the UK will see Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur meet in a pre-season friendly at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on July 31, 2025. The fixture is part of the Hong Kong Football Festival, with Liverpool taking on AC Milan on July 26. Both teams are preparing for the 2025-26 season. The match, scheduled for 7:30pm local time (11:30am BST), marks the first time these rival teams have faced each other outside the UK. Previously, Arsenal last toured Hong Kong in 2012, while Spurs visited Japan and South Korea in 2024. Manchester United, meanwhile, is scheduled to play two post-season friendlies in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Some Premier League clubs, like Chelsea and Manchester City, have not yet decided on their pre-season plans due to their involvement in the Club World Cup beginning on June 15, 2025.
