Can Emery's Villa Squad Salvage the Clash at Villa Park?

Aston Villa, despite a 3-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie, remain optimistic about a comeback at Villa Park. Unai Emery, Villa's manager, believes in the team's potential to deliver a strong performance at home with the support of their fans. PSG, however, have been formidable on the road this season, winning their last 16 away matches in all competitions. Only two players from the PSG squad who were part of the team that surrendered a four-goal lead to Barcelona in 2017, when Emery was their manager, are still with the club. Stephen Warnock, a former England defender, believes the tie is "massively" in PSG's favor, but both teams have stressed that the quarter-final is far from over.
