Salah Snubs £500m Saudi Offer, Ensures Anfield Stay

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has signed a new two-year contract with the club, ending speculation surrounding his future. The deal, which will keep Salah at Anfield until 2025, was finalized after a breakthrough in talks between Salah, his representative, and Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes at the end of March. The Egyptian will continue to earn close to £400,000-per-week, making him one of the highest-paid players in the Premier League. Salah initially expressed uncertainty about his future at Liverpool but ultimately chose to stay for sporting reasons. He was reportedly approached by the Saudi Pro League, who offered him a lucrative deal, but Salah decided to prioritize elite sporting challenges and his family's happiness in Liverpool.
