Falkirk clinched the Scottish Championship title on the final day of the season, securing their return to the Scottish Premiership after a 15-year absence. Despite a few wobbles in recent weeks, they managed to edge out Livingston with a 3-1 win over Hamilton Academical, securing their second successive title under manager John McGlynn. The team's journey to the top included an invincible League 1 campaign, securing promotion with an 84th-minute penalty in their final League 1 match, and an impressive transition to the Championship in which they remained unbeaten for five games. The return of homegrown hero Scott Arfield, who scored a hat-trick on his comeback, was a highlight of the season.
