Liverpool manager Arne Slot has stated that he will not tell fans how to react to Trent Alexander-Arnold's decision to leave the club this summer. Alexander-Arnold announced on Monday that he will depart on a free transfer when his contract expires in 2025. Real Madrid has reportedly approached Liverpool about signing Alexander-Arnold for the Fifa Club World Cup, which starts on 14 June. Slot refused to comment on the player's next club but hinted he was aware of the situation. Conor Bradley, 21, will start at right-back against Arsenal on Sunday as Liverpool prepare for Alexander-Arnold's exit. Slot expressed disappointment at the departure of both a "very good" human being and a "very, very good" full-back. He believes the next player will step up to fill the void left by Alexander-Arnold.
