Manchester City have signed Algeria international left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves for £31m. The 24-year-old has signed a five-year contract and will be available for the Club World Cup group stage, starting on 18 June. City begin their campaign against Wydad AC. Ait-Nouri made 41 appearances for Wolves last season, scoring five goals and adding seven assists. He is set to join Tijjani Reijnders, who City have already agreed to sign from AC Milan. Ait-Nouri expressed his excitement about working with Pep Guardiola and learning from his coaching team. Edu Rubio, Ait-Nouri's former Wolves coach, believes the defender's technical competency, ability to break lines, and versatility make him a perfect fit for Guardiola's possession-based play. However, Rubio suggests Ait-Nouri needs to improve his decision-making on the ball and his end product in attack.
