Everton announce plans to keep Goodison Park as the home for their women's team, making it the largest dedicated women's football stadium in the country with a capacity of 39,572. The Blues will move to their new stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock, this summer, but during construction, the club conducted a feasibility study about maintaining Goodison as a home for the women's team. The move marks an investment in the women's game by Everton's new owners, The Friedkin Group, who have a strong track record in women's football. The club's CEO Angus Kinnear added that the decision to keep Goodison was important to the community and to preserve the stadium's iconic status. Everton's women's team have played at Walton Hall Park since 2020 and finished eighth in the Women's Super League this season. The stadium's changing room facilities will be improved, and the exterior of the stadium will be rebranded to reflect the women's team's history and current squad.
