Arsenal secured second place in the Women's Super League (WSL) with a 4-3 victory over Manchester United, but defensive lapses and loss of concentration raised concerns ahead of their Champions League final against Barcelona. With 12 goals conceded in their last three WSL matches, Arsenal must tighten up their backline against an attacking Barca side that has scored 18 goals in four Champions League knockout ties. Arsenal's attack, led by joint-WSL Golden Boot winner Alessia Russo, has been impressive, scoring four or more goals in their last eight home league matches. However, Manchester United will be preparing for their own final as they defend the FA Cup against Chelsea, having lost to both Arsenal and Chelsea in their last four matches.
