Liverpool are gearing up for a significant summer transfer window, with the Reds already having signed Netherlands international Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5m and closing in on Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz for a club record £109m. A deal for Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez is also in the works, with Liverpool reportedly prepared to pay between £45m and £50m for the Hungary defender. The club's sporting director, Richard Hughes, is overseeing the recruitment process, with several positions still being targeted as areas to strengthen. Arne Slot, the Liverpool manager, reflected on the club's lack of transfer activity last summer, stating they "did things differently" and that the competition will be tougher next season. Key targets for Liverpool also include a new left-back, a centre-back, and potentially a new striker, with Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and Harvey Elliott's futures uncertain.
