Chelsea are in negotiations to sign Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Gittens, with a reported offer of a seven-year contract on the table. The 20-year-old winger is open to the move but a fee remains undecided, with Chelsea set to pay £30m while Dortmund seek more than £40m. Although Chelsea aren't rushing to seal the deal, they may wait until after the Club World Cup, where both teams will compete. Gittens, who joined Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020, scored eight goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances last season but does not fit manager Niko Kovac's system. Meanwhile, a deal for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan appears less likely due to Milan's unwillingness to lower their £25m asking price.
