Ramsey Heads to Mexico: Cardiff Announce Departure

Aaron Ramsey has had three spells as a Cardiff City player

Welsh football club Cardiff City have confirmed the departure of Aaron Ramsey to Mexican side Club Universidad Nacional (Pumas UNAM) after the midfielder's three spells with the club, which culminated in an unsuccessful interim manager stint that ended in relegation to League One. Additionally, Jamilu Collins, Raheem Conte, Anwar El Ghazi, Kieron Evans, Dimitrios Goutas, and Yakou Meite will also leave Cardiff City at the end of their contracts on 30 June. Club captain Joe Ralls and fellow midfielder Andy Rinomhota are in talks about extending their current deals. Cardiff have held advanced talks with former Manchester City academy coach Brian Barry-Murphy for the managerial position. The club has released their retained list of players ahead of the League One campaign in August, featuring 37 players including notable names such as Calum Chambers, Callum O'Dowda, and Ryan Wintle.
